When a piano is in poor conditions and presents considerable technical problems, it often requires major interventions, both to the internal and external parts.

ZANTA Pianoforti is specialized in the restoration of pianos: we can perform interventions of all kinds, from the replacements of the tailpiece or the soundboard to the replacement of the pin block…

These are complex operations that must be carried out by expert hands, in order to grant the instrument the splendor it deserves.

Other important interventions that we usually perform on our customers’ pianos include the reconstruction of the entire mechanical block, with the replacement of the stands, the hammers or stilettos, and the full or partial rebuilding of the keyboard, which often shows cracks and imperfections in old pianos and that can reduce accuracy.

In our laboratory of 300 m² based in Venice, we carry out each operation with maximum respect towards the piano, using whenever possible original pieces and traditional processing techniques.
